My Projects
Project 1
Security System
In this project, I have developed a smart home automation and security system by designing a prototype in Tinkercad and programming it within the Arduino IDE. The smart home system includes several devices that monitor the home's condition. These devices include a door sensor to check if the door is open or closed, a distance sensor to detect any potential home intruders and automated lights that turn on when it's dark. This project is very important as it helps others secure their homes and avoid feeling vulnerable to the dangers they may face in what should be the most secure place for them - their home.

Project 2 Software Engineering

-
Completed the Advanced Software Engineering Job Simulation where I solved difficult technical projects for a variety of teams at Walmart.
-
Developed a novel version of a heap data structure in Java for Walmart’s shipping department, showcasing strong problem-solving and algorithmic skills.
-
Designed a UML class diagram for a data processor, considering different operating modes and database connections.
-
Created an entity relationship diagram to design a new database accounting for all requirements provided by Walmart’s pet department.
Project 3
Linux Operating Systems
Throughout this project, I've mastered essential skills in Linux system administration, starting with exploring the Linux filesystem in Module 2 and advancing to shell scripting in Module 3. Module 4 honed my abilities in user and group management, while Module 5 expanded my understanding of networking essentials. In Module 6, I gained insights into system monitoring, and in Module 7, I pursued certification, culminating in CompTIA Linux+ accreditation. This project has equipped me with the confidence to excel in a career in Linux system administration.

Project 4
Linux Operating Systems
This project has provided a comprehensive introduction to data analysis using Python, focusing on weather data retrieved from a cloud source and stored in a local database. Utilizing tools like Excel and Replit, I encountered and overcame various challenges typical for newcomers to Python and data analytics. These challenges included connecting to databases, cleansing and transforming data, creating graphical models, and interpreting results.
-
Through this project, I gained valuable career skills in database management, data cleansing, visualization, statistical analysis, and more. Looking forward, these skills are not only relevant for further educational pursuits but also for a career in cybersecurity. The ability to manage and analyze data effectively is crucial in identifying and mitigating security threats.
-
This project has laid a solid foundation for my future studies and career aspirations in cybersecurity, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and practical application of programming and data analytics skills.
-
In essence, this project has equipped me with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to pursue further studies and eventually excel in the field of cybersecurity.

Project 5
SOHO Network
This project delves into the fundamentals of networking, which are crucial in the rapidly evolving world of the Internet of Things (IoT). It encompasses the design and development of a network, focusing on key aspects such as SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) router configurations, subnetting, connectivity testing, network documentation, and SOHO wireless network security. Each module builds on this foundation: implementing an IPv4 addressing scheme for the SOHO Router, testing connectivity among network devices, subnetting a class C network and configuring loopback interfaces, creating a detailed network diagram using Microsoft Visio, and enhancing the security of an SOHO wireless network. Through these modules, the project not only facilitates an understanding of current networking technologies but also prepares for future advancements in Information Technology, particularly in the realm of IoT

Project 6
Traffic Controller
This project I present my Smart Traffic Light Controller project, a comprehensive initiative aimed at creating an intelligent traffic management system. Utilizing an ESP32 microcontroller, LEDs, and an LCD display, the project involved multiple stages, from initial setup and WiFi configuration to integrating the display and LEDs and testing the system. This endeavor not only honed my technical skills in hardware integration and software coding but also deepened my understanding of debugging and cybersecurity principles relevant to embedded systems. The challenges encountered during development significantly enhanced my problem-solving abilities and technical expertise.

Project 7
Information System Security
In today’s digital world, cybersecurity is more important than ever. Protecting sensitive data and preventing unauthorized access are crucial for any organization. In this project, I worked on securing a Linux server by using various cybersecurity techniques. This included encrypting data, setting up a firewall, creating a security policy for personal devices (BYOD), implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conducting vulnerability assessments. The goal of this project was to demonstrate how these different security methods can be applied to protect a system from potential threats and improve overall security.

Project 8
Intrusion Detection, Firewall, and Network Analysis
This project focuses on essential cybersecurity skills, including intrusion analysis, SSL/TLS testing, Snort rule configuration, live memory analysis, and firewall management. These activities are critical for identifying and mitigating security threats in real-world scenarios. By mastering these skills, you can effectively analyze network traffic, detect vulnerabilities, and configure defenses to protect systems from cyberattacks. The knowledge gained from this project is fundamental for any cybersecurity professional, ensuring readiness to handle modern security challenges and safeguard digital environments.
